It won't let me sign up

Which kinda detracts from the fun...and the point...

But nevertheless, it's a great idea, a great game, it just seems there are a few bugs to iron out. 6/10 3/5.

iminlikewithyou responds:

I just tried creating an account and it seemed to work ok. After signing up, it prompts me that I need to go back the main site, and I say no, and then I'm still on newgrounds, but now signed into the game. Want to give it another go?

One major problem...

I keep pressing Ctrl and it prompts me to save this site to my favourites, and once I pressed Ctrl and it closed the browser. It would be better if you could choose which button you attack with (hell, even clicking would be easier)

But anyway, this is a great game. Get the Ctrl sorted (he he) and it'll be epic. 4/5 8/10.

You are all idiots

This game is not difficult, you're just doing it wrong. If you can't do it with one control system, use the other one. And practise. This game requires a bloody lot of practise.

So stop playing or shut up.

GAAAAAH!

What's the control scheme on Level 4? I've tried every single button on the keyboard and nothing works!

OK, not great

Good points:
*Detailed levels
*Good sprites
*Music (I had my speakers off when I was playing, so I don't know how good the audio is)
*The game itself is quite long
*Mini-games

Bad points/suggestions:
*There's no way to attack the enemies
*Maybe there should be different difficulty levels. So on Easy there are checkpoints you can start over from, on Medium there aren't, if if you beat the game you unlock Hard mode, where the enemies are faster and more abundant
*The collision detection is somewhat glitchy (sometimes you think you've cleared an enemy and you get sent back to the start)
*The scene creator should have more items (I understand it's only a minigame, but it's a pretty crappy minigame)
*You SERIOUSLY need to work on your English and spelling (I counted at least half-a-dozen mistakes in the opening cutscene alone)
*The backgrounds during the cutscenes are quite boring and dull (for example, in the opening cutscene when we see Squidward, the background should be the inside of Squidward's bedroom, rather than a green block)

Overall it has promise, but there are still a lot of issues that need to be addressed. For now, 3/5 5/10.

I found a glitch!

I entered the shop, and suddenly for no apparent reason, it cut to the desert area, with the shop menu constantly scrolling across where the sky should be, so I couldn't buy anything and I couldn't play the game properly.

Once you get this glitch fixed it'll be a perfect game.

A great parody

The farting thing was a good touch. My favourite hobby is pinging Luis off the walls as he comes back down again. It builds up more speed >:D

But yeah. This is a great game.

This is a good game

I find this is more of a mini-game than an actual game. I'm sure you've gotten tired of hearing this, but the game is a bit too short. Just as you're getting into it, it ends.

If you make a sequel, I have a few ideas:
1. Add some different backgrounds (i.e. lava, underwater etc.)
2. Make it more challenge-based. For example, you could have levels where you have to blow up as few robots as possible, instead, or have levels with enemies that you're not meant to destroy...if you blow them up, it's game over. You know...stuff like that.
3. Change the music or add a mute button (if there was one I didn't see it)

Good time-waster though. 4/5 8/10.

HybridMind responds:

I don't mind hearing what people think about the game even if it is a lot about the duration. It is cool. I wanted the game to be short because I designed it to be rapidly replayed. That this seems confusing or a short coming is likely a problem with the game context or design I did. I'll ponder this point as well as the others. I do like your different background idea (underwater, lava, etc) that would be a lot of fun to draw and create environment-themed robots as well.

In the top left of screen it always says 'M for Mute R for Restart' but I know I should have added a little speaker icon too, my bad. :)

Thanks again for reviewing and playing!

Even better than the first

I never thought there'd be a sequel, and now it's out, I'ce completely forgottan about the original. The random character/level functions are a nice touch.

A few problems though:
1. As far as I'm aware, the shop only sells one item at a time. It should sell several different items that change daily (or everytime you play...or something) 2. When you put the playlist on 'Random', the Sonic CD song seems to come up far more often than the other songs, to the point where you press 'M' to skip it and it comes on again (as a result, I got so tired of hearing it I switched it off XD) 3. The SFX keep switching themselves off every so often (although I could just be pressing the button accidentally)

Other than that, great game. Well done.
But yeah. This is a great game.

Xanadu32 responds:

hmm wow I can believe you noticed the minor flaw in the song randomizer. theres 3 locked songs making 8 altogether. if the randomizer lands on a locked song it simple increases the number till it finds a song, if it hits 8 it will loop back around to 1, aka Da Boom. ah well, I'm glad you enjoyed it! thanks for the support

GLITCH!

I found a massive glitch at the start. When it comes up with your first objective, the character runs forward slightly, then the screen stops scrolling and the character is pulled backwards and off the edge of the screen, whilst still performing the 'running forwards' animation. This has happened twice so it's not just a one-off. Please fix this.

I'm giving the game a 9 because I know that once the glitch is fixed, it'll be an epic game.

Also, at the beginning, you wrote 'geting' instead of 'getting' ^^

ChamberACR responds:

This problem, unfortunately, only happens on some PC's and I'm not exactly sure why. Try using a different browser. Sometimes that fixes it.

I'm a guy with way too many ideas and not enough time. In my spare time I develop indie games and occasionally write things.
