2025 Plans

Posted by F1Krazy - December 31st, 2024

2024 has been a bit of a mixed bag for me. I released Prism Indigo DX on Steam, fulfilling a lifelong ambition, but have made very little progress on its sequel. Color Critters has been one of my most well-received games to date, but again, I haven't made as much progress on the full-size version as I would have liked. My resolution for 2024 was to make a dent in my gaming backlog, and I've done that, but it left me with even less spare time for game development (as did my partner getting me addicted to Warframe - whoops!).

2025 is a big year for me. I turn 30 in a few days, and September will mark 20 years since I created my Newgrounds account (don't do the math on that). I feel as though I'm in a place to ramp up my game development work once more, and so my goals for the year are:

  • Launch the Steam page for Prism Warriors DX in the first quarter of the year, and release it by year's end
  • Finish and release the full version of Color Critters
  • Make meaningful progress on at least one non-game jam project (Lord knows I have enough of them lying around...)

While it's not Newgrounds-related, I'm also going to be gradually migrating my writing projects (both finished and unfinished) to Archive of Our Own. I may add a link to my AO3 profile at some point in 2025, in case anyone here is interested.

I've been kinda quiet this year, but I should have more updates for you as 2025 progresses and my projects take shape. I hope you'll follow me, throughout the year and beyond, and that you'll look forward to what I have in store.

Wow! That's a lot of work!
I apreciate how much effort you put and how much your trying.
Happy new year!

Thanks, happy new year to you too! It's definitely a lot of work but I have 365 days in which to complete it, just gotta take it one step at a time.
