Tumblr influx optimism. :) Hope so! Was going to ask if you've noticed more traffic to your game over earlier years but... is this your first LD game ever?! All the more impressive if it is...
This is my third LD. The first wasn't submitted here as I didn't know you could do that at the time (it'll be coming in 2019, with a load of updates), and the second also got frontpaged but did very poorly besides that. I think The Gods Are Angry already has more than double its viewcount.
Ah, Astervoid! I remember that one. Thought LD was a yearly thing but it's actually way more often than that huh! Interesting. I liked that idea btw. Probably hard to assess how much the new audience affects this considering the different genre, but that is a pretty big boost. Nice.

Ludum Dare came at a bit of an inopportune time this year, with all these new artists popping up right now and taking our attention... or maybe it's actually perfect in what first impressions they'll get when they come here. Lotta cool games in circulation too. Not just the overload of NSFW loops.
From that screenshot this looks like something I'd like to play too... hope to get some time and check it out! Looks good.

Yeah, as far as I'm concerned, the influx of traffic can only be a good thing. Even if people aren't coming here specifically to play our games, they'll still see 'em right on the frontpage.
